Fishing, hunting, bird watching, ATV, snowmobiling, skiing, hiking and biking trails. We have direct access to miles of trails including the Avenue of Pines trail.
Unlimited fishing opportunities exist, especially Lake Winnie/Cutfoot, one of the midwest's finest fisheries. Fish for walleye, northern pike, jumbo perch, muskie, bass, and hand-size pan fish. You can, also, easily fish Leech Lake, Red Lake, or Lake of the Woods, plus a myriad of excellent, smaller lakes in the area. Whether you are a novice or experienced fisherman, you would enjoy and benefit from a trip with one of our local, experienced guides.
The Mississippi River flows through Lake Winnie, so if you like fishing from shore, you can do so on the banks of the Mississippi at the Lake Winnigigoshish Dam. Another fun activity is to walk across the Mississippi River on stepping stones at its headwaters in Itasca State Park, just over an hour from Gosh Dam Place. Just ask us for directions!
